A letter from our founder
Growing up, I was diagnosed with Asperger's at 13. I struggled with reading social cues, managing emotions, and fitting in. School was lonely, and for years, I felt like I was falling behind everyone else.
What helped most wasn't a single breakthrough, but something called Social Emotional Learning. These skills โ managing emotions, building confidence, handling setbacks โ completely changed my life. They gave me the tools I wish I'd had from the start.
That's why I created tapouts. Because all kids deserve tools to understand themselves, manage stress, and feel proud of who they are โ whether they have a diagnosis or not.
Today, thousands of kids are building resilience and emotional strength through our weekly sessions. I'd love for your child to be next.

Got Questions? We've Got Answers.
Our program is overseen by Dr. Maggie Vaughan, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Our coaches are certified professionals with over 20 years of experience in child psychology, education, or counseling. Every coach is background-checked and trained in our proprietary SEL curriculum.
tapouts is designed for kids ages 4-16 who struggle with anxiety, emotional regulation, or social confidence. Whether your child has a diagnosis or just needs extra support, our program meets them where they are.
Kids join 30-minute weekly, live group sessions with a small group of peers their age. Sessions are fun and interactive, using games and challenges to teach emotional skills. Parents receive progress updates after each session.
Unlike one-on-one therapy, tapouts offers group learning where kids build skills alongside peers, making it fun and natural. Plus, at $37/week it's far more affordable than traditional therapy, while still being developed by clinical professionals.
Most parents see positive changes within 4-6 weeks. Kids get better at: staying calm when upset, feeling sure of themselves, talking about their feelings, and handling tough moments. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee because we're confident in our program.
